Latina Futures 2050 Lab
“By building on the canon of our scholarly predecessors, we seek to produce cutting-edge research, elevate new voices, and deepen community partnerships.”
Veronica Terriquez
Director, Chicano Studies Research Center
The Latina Futures, 2050 Lab seeks to increase knowledge and insight through applied policy research on the contours of the economic, political, and social lives of Latinas living in the United States over the next several decades. One of the goals of the initiative is to increase the Latinas’ power of influence across important democratic institutions and accelerate their full inclusion through rigorous research, community partnerships, and leadership development. A society where Latinas lead is a society in which everyone thrives.
